A gun, a motorcycle and stolen items have were recovered by the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) on Monday November 28, 2022 at about 4pm, after they were abandoned by fleeing armed robbers to evade arrest.
In a statement by the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf, on behalf of the State Commander, Dr Soji Ganzallo, it was said that the armed robbers were sighted during a routine patrol between Gasline axis and Arobieye in Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area, leading to their being chased.
Though the robbers escaped, men of the So-Safe Corps were able to recover a brand new Boxer Bajaj with registration number TRE 231 VT, a locally-made gun and charms among other items.
The PRO said that the recovered items had been transferred to Onipanu Divisional Police Headquarters for further investigation.
