The Director-General of Oyo State Liaison Office, Abuja and Lagos, Wale Ajani, has described Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo as a selfless and exceptional leader.
Ajani made the remark while felicitating with Governor Makinde on the celebration of his 55th birthday in a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Ibadan.
The governor’s aide maintained that Makinde’s emergence as the governor of the state in 2019 birthed a new era and political philosophy of true welfarism in the state.
In his words, “I wish to congratulate my boss, principal, and leader, the executive governor of Òyó State on his 55th birthday.
“Governor Seyi Makinde has made governance to be very seamless. He has made the unknown to be known and he is building a legacy that everyone is proud of.
“Working under his leadership has crystalized my view of leadership as more of selfless service and responsibility than personally beneficial role.
“Governor Makinde has given us all, especially sons and daughters of Oyo State reasons to renew our faith in the modern pacesetter state being engineered under his leadership because he has remained a man who leads from the frontline.
“My leader in whom I’m well pleased, Governor Seyi Makinde’s 55th birthday will undoubtedly usher in Omituntun 2.0 which is second to none. I therefore, pray for long life in good health, and higher responsibility in Nigeria.”
