The National Coordinator of National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW), Major General A.M. Dikko, on Thursday, August 17, 2023, commended the Nigeria Police Force for the tremendous support it provides the Centre in the execution of its mandate.
The commendation was given when the Acting Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, to the National Coordinator and the management team during a courtesy visit to the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
According to a statement by the Force spokesman, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the IGP who noted the visit as a new vista opening in the relationship currently existing between the NPF and the Center, assured the NCCSALW of continued collaboration in the efforts to rid the nation of illicit firearms and promote public safety and security.
