Viju Industries (Nigeria) Ltd., manufacturers of the trusted Viju Milk brand, has reaffirmed its commitment to community development by empowering over 2,000 institutions and organizations across Nigeria through its 2025 end-of-year Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, themed “Celebrate Their Brilliance 3.3.”

The 2025 edition marks a significant expansion of the programme. Unlike previous years that focused mainly on Lagos and Ogun states, this year’s outreach extended to Abuja and its environs, benefiting schools, religious centres, NGOs, orphanage homes, community groups, media organisations, and other institutions. The number of beneficiaries doubled from about 1,000 in earlier editions to over 2,000, underscoring Viju Industries’ strong commitment to social impact despite prevailing economic challenges.

Speaking on the initiative, the Brand Manager and Corporate Affairs Manager, Mr. Raphael Osiomwan, described the programme as part of Viju Industries’ enduring culture of giving back.

“At a time when many organisations are scaling down, Viju Industries has chosen to deepen its support for communities,” he said. “Celebrate Their Brilliance 3.3 reached more than 2,000 institutions across Lagos State, Ogun State, and now Abuja and its environs. For us, giving back is not seasonal; it is who we are.”

This year’s programme also broadened its focus beyond children to include youth and parents, recognising their resilience and vital role in building strong and sustainable communities. According to the company, brilliance exists at every stage of life – from children’s potential to youth innovation and parental guidance.

Highlighting the strength of the Viju Milk brand, Mr. Osiomwan noted that the company has continued to maintain high quality and affordability despite economic pressures, earning the trust of families and institutions nationwide.

“What sets Viju apart is consistency,” he stated. “We continue to deliver nourishing, high-quality products at consumer-friendly prices. Our CSR initiatives are simply an extension of our commitment to the well-being of Nigerians.”

As part of the expanded outreach, Viju Industries distributed thousands of cartons of BB Star Milk Drink and V-Cool Carbonated Soft Drinks, alongside writing materials, educational items, and gift packs. These contributions helped create memorable end-of-year celebrations for beneficiaries across the participating states.

Beyond donations, the company emphasized its hands-on approach, engaging directly with institutions to understand their needs and provide meaningful support. Feedback from communities, according to the company, has been overwhelmingly positive.

Despite ongoing economic challenges, Viju Industries continues to expand its CSR footprint, positioning itself as a model of corporate responsibility and compassion.

“Our goal is simple – to stand with the people,” Mr. Osiomwan concluded. “No matter the economic situation, we will continue to support communities and remain a brand Nigerians can rely on.”
