Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has appointed Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, as his new Chief of Staff.
The governor also appointed Mrs Aderonke Adedayo as Director-General of the Oyo State Due Process Office.
The governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, said in a statement that the appointments were announced in letters signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde.
Akinwole, a grassroots politician, previously served as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission before his new appointment.
Adedayo, who currently serves as Special Adviser on General Intervention and Donor Agencies, will combine the role with her new responsibilities as Director-General of the Due Process Office.
Both appointments take immediate effect.
Congratulating the appointees, Makinde urged them to discharge their responsibilities with loyalty, commitment and dedication to the service of Oyo State.
