A new Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Adewale Osifeso, has assumed duty in Oyo State Police Command after being appointed for the position.
Osifeso takes over from the erstwhile spokesman for the command, CSP Olugbenga Fadeyi.
This was made known on Thursday, April 8, 2021, by the state Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Omotayo Oduniyi, in a press statement.
Speaking on the new PPRO, Oduniyi said in the statement that Osifeso was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet ASP on January 9, 2012.
According to the Deputy PPRO, “he (Osifeso) is an alumnus of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, where he bagged his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication in 2007.
“He is a seasoned detective and has served in various capacities as Operations Officer, departmental team leader under various intelligence departments at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Iyaganku, Ibadan, in the state, and Unit Commander under the Special Protection Unit, Base 22, Ibadan.
“Until his recent deployment, he served as a Unit Commander at 39 PMF Osogbo.”
