The police boss advised party executive members to organize training sessions for their members and educate them on electoral laws and rules of engagement as specified in the 2020 Electoral Act and other extant laws.
He also stressed on the need to embark on issue-based campaigns, rather than engage in hate speeches that would cause unnecessary tension.
Abass requested that each political party should draw up itineraries for campaigns and submit same to the police for proper security arrangements to avoid clashes.
After a successful deliberation, the meeting came to an end with the signing of a peace accord by the party executive members.
