WIFE of the Ooni of Ife, Olori Silekunola, has been delivered of a baby boy, the Newsbearer has learnt.
There had been speculations in the media about a new Ife prince recently where unconfirmed sources claimed the queen had put to bed before it later debunked to be untrue.
However, the Ooni, Oba Enitan Adeleye Ogunwusi, in a post on his Instagram account, confirmed the development.
The Ooni wrote: “To God be the glory great things he has done.
“Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Silekunola, who today birthed a Prince to the royal throne of Oduduwa.
Mother and child are doing well to the glory of God Almighty.”
