Two suspects, Aluko Sunday (28) and Yusuf Idris Tunde (27) have been arrested by police operatives in Ibadan, Oyo State for allegedly defiling two six-year-old girls.
The state’s Commissioner of Police, Ngozi Onadeko, while parading the suspects, said on April 1, 2021, one Jelilat Muniru reported at the Ashi police station that her six-year-old girl, Ikimot Muniru, had been defiled by Aluko.
She said the suspect called her daughter into his room and defiled.
The police boss said following the complaint, police operatives immediately swung into action and arrested the suspect.
The police boss said in another case, one Agboola Imoleayo, also on April 1, reported at the Iwo Road police station that her daughter, also six years old, was allegedly defiled by Yusuf.
Onadeko said the suspect had also been arrested and that investigations were already ongoing into the two cases.
