Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has forwarded the name of the Permanent Secretary, General Administration, Dr Olabode Taiwo Ladipo, to the Oyo State House of Assembly, as a commissioner-nominee.
The governor has also appointed Architect Ifeoluwa Akande as the Chairman, Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport Upgrade Committee; Honourable Isola Abiodun Adekunle as Executive Adviser, Intra-Party Affairs; and Hon Oladejo Emmanuel Oladokun as Part-Time Member, Local Government Service Commission.
The appointments take effect from July 1, 2026, according to a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, and made known in a statement by the governor’s Special Adviser (Media), Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, on Tuesday, June 30.
Governor Makinde, while congratulating the newly-appointed individuals, urged them to discharge their duties with dedication, loyalty and commitment.
