Commissioner of Police in Lagos State Command, Abiodun Alabi has directed Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers and tactical commanders to live up to their responsibilities.
Alabi gave the fresh directive during a routine briefing with his management team, Area Commanders, DPOs and Heads of Departments at the POWA Conference Hall, Ikeja, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
The directive, according to the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, was handed down in view of the need to urgently address security challenges in some parts of the state so as to allay the fears of the citizens and assure them of their safety.
The police commissioner also charged the officers to constantly engage critical stakeholders in their respective areas, strengthen community policing and ensure constant visibility policing for the purpose of providing quality service delivery to the people.
