The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, is set to unveil his development manifesto, tagged Oyo AHEAD (Itayo Oyo), to stakeholders across the state on Tuesday.
The presentation, scheduled to hold at Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall, opposite the main gate of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, will mark the formal launch of Alli’s development blueprint ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
According to a statement by the Director of Media and Publicity of the Senator Sharafadeen Alli Campaign Organisation (SSACO), Bisi Oladele, the event is expected to attract representatives of various sectors of the state.
Those expected include representatives of the organised private sector, labour unions, community development associations, farmers, students, artisans, academics, traders, women’s groups and non-indigenes.
All APC candidates in the 2027 elections, alongside party leaders and other stakeholders, are also expected to attend the ceremony.
The statement said Alli would present the manifesto sector by sector, outlining his proposed programmes and policies for transforming different areas of the state.
It described Oyo AHEAD as a practical, people-centred development roadmap aimed at improving the state’s performance across key development indicators and restoring its pace-setting status.
The campaign organisation said the unveiling would provide stakeholders with an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the candidate’s policy direction and development priorities for Oyo State.
