A yet-to-be-identified man was saved from dying after jumping into the lagoon in Lagos State, as he was rescued by a fisherman.
In a viral video on social media, posted by the driver of a towing vehicle, a silver colour Lexus SUV with registration number KTU 453 JY, belonging to the man, was seen parked on the roadside by the bridge rail.
According to the towing vehicle driver, “I saw the man when he parked the Lexus vehicle and stood beside it.
“I noticed him and decided to make a turn to know whether he needed help, but the man had jumped into the lagoon.”
The towing vehicle driver said he had to call the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) officials nearby.
On checking the vehicle through its wound-up window, two phones and power bank were seen on the car seat.
However, as seen in the video, the man was rescued and put in a canoe by the fisherman, ferried to safety.
