Assistant Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Clement Oladele, on Monday, May 17, 2021, assumed office as the zonal commanding officer of Zone RS8 headquarters, Ilorin, Kwara State.
The zonal headquarters supervises FRSC Commands in Kwara, Ekiti and Kogi states.
According to the Zonal Public Enlightenment Officer, Route Commander
Hassan O. Ibitoye, in a statement on Tuesday, May 18, the new Zonal Commanding Officer came in as the 13th Zonal Commanding Officer of RS8 headquarters, Ilorin, and had served the FRSC in various capacities.
Oladele, according to the PEO, was the immediate past Commandant, FRSC Academy, Udi, Enugu State, before his new posting.
Oladele, who is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, was also the FRSC Sector Commander in Ogun State between October 2016 and May 2020.
The Assistant Corps Marshal was well known in Ogun State for his prompt response to, and rescue of, accident victims, as well as his efforts at ensuring compliance with traffic rules and regulations by road users.
