While the governor voted at Ward 11, Unit 01, Abayomi Iwo-road in Ibadan North East Local Government, his wife, Tamunominini, voted at Unit 08 Army, Barracks, Iwo Road, also in Ibadan North East Local Government of the state.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, indicated that

He said that the process went smoothly while he voted.
