The Commissioner of Police, Benue State Command, Wale Abass has warned motorists against moving about with unregistered vehicles, enjoining them to obtain number plates on or before March 21, 2022 when the command will begin law enforcement.
The police commissioner made the statement on Tuesday, March 8, according to the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Catherine Anene.
Observing the increasing number of unregistered motorcycles, tricycles and cars plying roads in the state, Abass described it as a source of concern that would create room for criminals to operate with ease.
He urged the motorists to go for the ongoing registration at the headquarters of Benue State Internal Revenue Service, (BIRS) or any of the area tax offices across the state.
