Oyeyemi said that suspect was sighted at a criminal hideout at Igboro area of Ilaro Town, prompting a report at Ilaro divisional headquarters.
This, the PPRO said, made the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Olayemi Jacob to mobilize his men and they moved to the scene where the suspect, who was in the midst of some hoodlums, was arrested while others escaped.
Discovered in a bag found with him was a cut-to-size locally-made pistol and seven live cartridges.
