In the spirit of Children’s Day coming up on Monday, May 27, Viju Industries Nigeria, in its usual practice, has given out some of the company’s products to beneficiaries as gifts to mark the day.
The event was held at its premises situated in Ikeja Industrial Estate, Lagos State.
In an address on behalf of the management, the company’s Brand Manager, Mr. Raphael Osiomwan, welcomed the representatives of schools, churches, mosques and Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs), disclosing that the event was also to launch the ‘Celebrate Their Brilliance’ campaign.
The Brand Manager said: “Viju Milk is proud to announce the launch of the ‘Celebrate Their Brilliance’ campaign, an initiative designed to recognize and foster the bright young minds of our nation.
“As part of our commitment to nurturing the potentials of the next generation, we are thrilled to also introduce the ‘Viju Educational Tour Programme,’ an immersive experience that will take students on a journey through our state-of-the-art facilities.
“This programme is not just a tour; it’s an interactive educational adventure that allows children to see, touch, and learn about the processes that go into creating their favorite Viju products.
“By engaging with our experts and getting hands-on experience, we aim to inspire a passion for learning and innovation.”
He continued: “At Viju, we believe that every child holds the promise of brilliance, and it is our privilege to celebrate and support their academic and creative endeavours.
“We will like to appreciate all the teachers, parents and community leaders who work tirelessly to support and guide our children.
“Your dedication is truly inspiring, and we are honoured to partner with you in this mission.”
About 400 beneficiaries were at the event to collect the products being gifted by Viju.
They included JTAH Foundation, Child Protection Network (CPN) Lagos Chapter, YPO Shodeinde Memorial Islamic School, Royal Group Of Schools, Elibel Comprehensive School, Help-A-Soul Foundation, Misam Schools, Good Shepherd School, Cherubim & Seraphim Church, Police Children School and others.
Many school children, school proprietors, church and mosque leaders were also at the event to catch fun and pick up their slots.
The Touchaheart, Newsonspot, iexclusivenews blogs, The Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Hi-impact Radio, Lagos Television (LTV) and others were part of the media that came around to cover the event.
