A former governor of Oyo State and retired police officer, Chief Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala is dead.
He reportedly died on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, morning in a hospital he was taken to.
He was aged 71, and would have turned 72 on June 3.
Though information about his death is still sketchy, a reliable source told the Thenewsbearer that the former governor, who just returned to Ogbomoso from Abuja on Tuesday, had felt unwell.
He had been preparing for his first wife’s birthday at the weekend before death came knocking.
