The order of burial rites of late activist and spokesman of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin, has been announced by his family.
The burial programme, which was disclosed on Monday, April 12, 2021, in a statement signed by his widow, Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin, who is also an activist, will span three days, from Thursday April 22, to Saturday April 24.
Thursday has been slated to be Day of Tributes and Service of Songs at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos State, between 11am and 4pm, while his body will lie in state.
On Friday, the body will depart Lagos State for Moro, his country home, in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State.
A candlelight procession will also take off from Origbo Anglican Grammar School, Moro, Osun State by 6pm.
On Saturday, April 24, there will be lying-in-state at Origbo Anglican Grammar School, Moro, at 8am, followed by a funeral service ar 10am, after which his remains will be committed to mother earth in a private interment.
