I commend your roles in battle against terrorists in Marte axis, COAS tells Air Task Force, Operation Lafiya Dole

Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, has commended troops, especially the Air Task Force, Operation LAFIYA DOLE, for their heroic and patriotic actions which resulted in the successes they have recorded.
This was disclosed the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Sagir Musa on Saturday, January 16, 2021.
The commendation came after an ambush by troops of Operation TURA TAKAIBANGO against Boko Haram terrorists, when they attempted to attack troops’ location at the outskirts of Marte, in Borno State.
The Air Task Force, Operation LAFIYA DOLE had reportedly played a decisive role through the destruction of seven terrorists’ gun trucks, and decimation of unconfirmed number of the insurgents, Brigadier General Musa said.
Buratai also urged them to maintain the momentum and expedite actions, to ensure speedy final defeat of Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Nigeria.
