Commissioner of Police, Airport Command, Abubakar Umar Bature has solicited for the sustenance of the existing synergy between other sister security agencies and his Command, in order to secure lives and property within the jurisdiction.
Bature gave the urge when he embarked on a familiarization tour of divisions, formations and other public and private offices under the Airport Command.
The places he visited were the offices of Air Force Commandant and NDLEA, among others.
While at the places, CP Bature expressed his delight for the warm reception accorded him, as well as the hands of fellowship and cooperation he received from them.
He promised to continue to work together with the heads of the security agencies and cooperate with them to achieve success at their commands.
Among the heads of security agencies visited by CP Bature were the Customs Area Comptroller (CAC) MMIA Command, Comptroller A.B. Abdullahi; Comptroller of Immigration, Comptroller A. M. Usman; NDLEA Commander, Ahmed Garba; and Military Airport Commandant, Wing Commander A.M. Tyozua.
The police commissioner also visited the headquarters of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc. (NAHCO) on Friday, February 5, 2021, where he met with the Group Managing Director, Mrs Fagbemi.
All the heads of security agencies visited pledged their support through synergy with the Airport Police Command, in order to secure lives and property within and around the MMIA.
