A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Oyo State, simply identified as Pa Olawuwo, has just been arrested and detained in Ibadan for the murder of Dr Fatai Aborode in Igangan area of the state.
Party chairmen from Ibarapa Central and North, Alhaji Yisau (Tapa) and former caretaker chairman, Iliasu Ololade, Mr Obey, among others from Igbo-Ora, were at the state Antu-Kidnapping Squad’s office in Dugbe to see their leader.
The state governor, Mr Seyi Makinde, had claimed that Dr Aborode’s murder may have been politically-motivated.
Aborode, also of the PDP, was killed on his farm in Igangan on December 11, 2020,
