The National Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South West, Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, on Monday , June 14, 2021, led the working committee of the party in the zone to visit the senator representing Ekiti South Senatorial district at the National assembly, Senator Biodun Olujimi.
This was made known in a press release signed by the media and publicity assistant to the South West National Vice Chairman, Bamitale Ibrahim, and made available to Thenewsbearer.
The visit was said to be in furtherance to the movement of the leader across the zone.
Arapaja had paid the courtesy call on Senator Olujimi at her Lagos residence as a recognized leader of PDP in the zone.
Speaking while receiving the Ambassador Arapaja-led team,
Senator Olujimi pointed out the need to rescue Nigeria from the administration of All Progressives Congress (APC).
She stressed that the time had come for the PDP to achieve this by working hard in unity, to be able to rescue Nigeria from the hands of APC come 2023.
In attendance at the meeting were the South West Zonal Secretary, Hon. Rahmon Owokoniran; South West Women’s Leader, Chief Mrs Bose Adedibu; SW Legal Adviser, Barrister Gbenga Kukoyi; Financial Secretary, Mr Rasaq Babatunde Adewoyin; Publicity Secretary, Chief Olusanya Atofarati; Youth Leader, Mr Oluseyi Bamidele and the Treasurer, Prince Ogunse Samson.
Others were the former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Sikiru Lawal; former acting Governor Ekiti State, Rt. Honourable Tunji Odeyemi; former SW zonal chairman, Chief Makanjuola Ogundipe;
Hon. Kehinde Odebunmi; Barrister Gboyega Oguntuase; Otunba Yinka Akerele and Alhaji Lateef Ajijola.
