The United States has joined Israel in its attacks on Iran, carrying out large-scale strikes on three key nuclear facilities, Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan, with President Trump saying they were “completely and totally obliterated”.
According to the British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC, Trump warned Iran that it “must now make peace”, otherwise “future attacks would be far greater and a lot easier”.
Trump had earlier given a two-week time-frames for him to decide on whether to join Israel in bombing Iran’s nuclear sites, especially Fordo, which is buried deep under mountains.
The US is the only country in the world that has the bombs that can bomb the Fordo site because of its depth and Israel had been pressuring the Trump administration to join the war since.
It is now unclear what the Iranian regime or it’s proxies would do aftermath of the destruction of the sites.
