The South West Group of Online Publishers (SWEGOP) has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on his inauguration for second term in office.
SWEGOP in a statement issued on Tuesday, May 30, by its Chairman, Mr Olayinka Agboola, and Public Relations Officer, Mr Remi Oladoye, also hailed the appointment of Mr Sulaimon Olanrewaju as the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.
The group also felicitated Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu on his being sworn in as Nigeria’s president, and governors in the South West on their second term in office.
The group urged the people of the state and Nigeria at large to support the new governments at both state and federal levels.
Calling on the president and governors to fulfil their campaign promises to the people, SWEGOP wished them the very best as they pilot the affairs of the nation and the states respectively.
