The Chairman of Police Service Commission, DIG Hashimu Argungu, has prayed for a rewarding and productive new year for Nigerians, with optimism that 2025 will usher in a great turnaround for the nation.
DIG Argungu also commiserated with the Inspector General of Police, Dr Kayode Egbetokun, on the deaths of DIG Moses Ambakina Jitoboh (rtd) and Pastor Bola Longe, a retired AIG, a press release by the PSC Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, stated on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
The PSC chairman appealed to Nigerians to believe in the enormous possibilities and opportunities inherent in the nation, urging them to collectively work towards harnessing and harvesting the rare gifts.
He noted that it is time for Nigerians to support the government and its leaders to maximise the dividends of the democratic journey.
The PSC Chairman postulated that the leaders mean well for Nigeria, which he said was already witnessing the benefits of renewed hope.
He prayed for a rewarding and productive year for the nation and called for sustained prayers for God’s continued intervention in its affairs.
He prayed for the Jitoboh and Longe families that God should give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable losses.
