Detectives in Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have begun investigation into the death of one Ik Ojo who was found hanging in his residence at Kagini, Dei-Dei area of the FCT.
The Command’s spokeswoman, SP Josephine Adeh, made this known in a statement on Saturday, September 6.
The deceased, a male, was aged 30
SP Adeh disclosed that the Command got a report of the suspected suicide on Friday, September 5.
“Responding promptly, police operatives from Dei-Dei Division visited the scene and evacuated the victim to Kubwa General Hospital, where he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor.
“The body has since been deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy,” Adeh stated.
She added that the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, Wale Ajao, has ordered a thorough and discreet investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
