Thirteen inmates who were among those set free by the gunmen who attacked Abolongo Custodial Centre in Oyo town, Oyo State, have been rearrested by policemen of Osun State Command.
Disclosing this on Sunday, October 25, 2021, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Yemisi Opalola, said that the escapees were re-arrested precisely by the policemen at Ejigbo Division.
She stated that all the recaptured inmates would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for proper handing over to the authorities of Nigerian Correctional Service.
