The Lagos State Police Command has again exhibited its forensic skills in combating crimes as its operatives traced some suspected armed robbers to Kachai Local Government of Kaduna State and arrested them with their weapons of operations.
According to the press statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Muyiwa Adejobi, the four suspected robbers, armed with dangerous weapons, had on 5th November, 2020, robbed one Mr Sontochukwu Uzoahukwu,vat Iliya Street, Bariga area of the state, and fled.
Adejobi said the victim later reported the case at the police at the Bariga police station.
He said the the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, then instructed the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Bariga, to adopt intelligence and forensic strategies to investigate the case.
Adejobi said police operatives then traced the suspects to a village in Kaduna, where they were arrested.
The suspects are Junior Michael (22), Pius Eko (18), Samson Yunana (22) and Daniel Yaki (19), who was once a security guard to the victim.
Adejobi said the suspects confessed to the crime.
