“On the strength of the Commissioner of Police instruction, the Commander of Taskforce and team embarked on the raid of Oshodi area and arrested the suspects, recovered drugs and weeds suspected to be Indian hemp and dangerous weapons,” CSP Adejobi stated.
He said further that the Commissioner of Police, due to some complaints received on isolated cases of robbery in traffic and harassment at Oshodi area, ordered the Commander RRS, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi and Commander Taskforce, CSP Sola Jejeloye, to consistently raid and watch over Oshodi and other identified areas that were vulnerable to attacks.
Also, the police operatives attached to Sagamu Road Division, Ikorodu, arrested one John Okibe (36), at Aleje area of Ikorodu on July 19, at about 1:30pm, for alleged threat and attempt to rob a POS operator.
