The victims, one of whom is a police inspector, were abducted at Wasinmi, along Abeokuta-Lagos road in Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state by kidnappers operating in military camouflage.
The news of the release of the victims was made known in a statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Friday, September 23.
Oyeyemi said: “On receiving the information of the abduction, the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, directed the command’s anti-kidnapping unit and other tactical squads to move to the area and join forces with Ewekoro divisional headquarters in rescuing the victims.
“Upon the intensive pressure and aggressive trailing of the kidnappers, they were left with no alternative other than releasing their captives.

“Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, has directed that no stone should be left unturned in ensuring that the kidnappers were all arrested and brought to book.”
