The governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde, said on Monday, May 27, that his administration remains committed to providing the right foundation to enable children to succeed.
The governor said this in a statement issued by his Special Adviser (Media), Mr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, to commemorate the 2024 Children’s Day.
The governor, who noted that children are special, said that they deserve the best of life.
According to him, his administration is of the belief that the right foundations are important to children’s growth and progress, hence its strong commitment to improving the quality of education and healthcare delivery in the state.
He felicitated the children, saying: “As we celebrate our children on their special day, we restate our administration’s commitment to ensuring that we provide the right foundation to enable them succeed in life. Happy Children’s Day!”
