The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) said that it intercepted Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, at Seme border, in an attempt to run away from Nigeria.
The Immigration spokesman, DTI K.T. Udo, said in a statement that the interception by the Immigration was in keeping with its commitment to securing the borders.
“The Service wishes to inform the public that Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju is a person of interest over issues of public concern.
“He is undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action.
“The Service assures the public that it will continue to be civil and professional in its statutory responsibility of manning the country’s borders,” the PRO said.
